The heartfelt lyrics and vocals of Rhiana Franklin will stop you in your tracks and make you do a double take. The 14 year old Washington native, and honor student attends Friday Harbor High School, is turning the heads of music industry professionals and event producers.
Rhiana’s decidedly pop style caught the attention of the music and recording legend, Larry Knechtel. The Grammy winning Knechtel came away from his first recording session with Rhiana offering high praise for this up and coming young talent. He arranged and played keyboard on four of Rhiana’s original songs recorded for her first demo CD.
Rhiana is a song writer, vocalist and guitarist who loves acting, creative writing, horseback riding and being with her friends. When this Island girl sings her original tunes, it feels like she is holding your heart in her hands. Put Rhiana on a stage and she is sure to attract a crowd and will hold them spellbound until the last note sounds.
