Tacoma Freedom Fair Music Schedule
The musical performances at the Tacoma Freedom Fair are a big part of the celebration. This is Tacoma's musical event of the summer which you won't want to miss. We always try to feature a wide variety of musical styles and many talented performers so you'll be sure to discover a band or artist you like.
We will have performances of jazz, rock, country, pop, christian music and blues just to cover the main categories. Freedom Fair is practically Tacoma's summer outdoor (and indoor) music festival. Where else in Tacoma can you see so many bands on so many stages, outdoor and in the sun? There will be lots of local and up-and-coming musicians performing for crowds and getting valuable exposure. It's a good chance for you to discover a new artist before they are playing sold out venues. You'll also see many well seasoned bands and performers who will dazzle you with their showmanship and musicianship.

BACK TO BEALE STREET BLUES 2010 CHALLENGE FINAL THE BACK TO BEALE STREET BLUES 2010 CHALLENGE is a judged “battle of the bands” in which competitors each perform twenty-five minute sets for a panel of judges. The acts are judged based on an established set of criteria; talent, vocals, blues content, originality and stage presence. The four bands competing won the preliminary competition held at Jazzbones on June 7th. The winner at The Tacoma Freedom Fair finals will advance to the International Blues Challenge held in Memphis, Tennessee, in January 2010. |
